Our Mission

We empower underserved Americans and unlock untapped talent across New York State through bold partnerships, workforce training, education, and equitable access to employment opportunities, so every individual can rise, thrive, and lead.

Our History

We are a Syracuse-based nonprofit 501(c)(3), empowering communities through training, education, partnerships, and employment opportunities.

At WAC, we expand opportunity for underserved communities and activate overlooked talent throughout New York State by fostering strong partnerships, delivering forward-thinking training, and advancing equitable pathways to success, so individuals are equipped not only to succeed, but to shape the future.

We serve as a catalyst for workforce equity and economic mobility by connecting individuals to education, employment, and leadership pathways that strengthen communities and meet evolving workforce needs.
